I've been tagged by Corey!
1. I do not like leftovers! Can't stand them and almost will refuse to eat them! This is kind of tough since I don't cook and Tim's the family chef!
2. I worked in a Tyson Chicken Barn (for fun and without pay)! Needless to say, I didn't eat chicken for quite some time!
3. I gave up soft drinks in high school for a New Year's resolution. It's the only one that I have actually kept.
4. I went scuba diving with the sharks in their natural habitat in the Bahamas. I'm not sure if it's weird, but it was totally cool!
5. I get motion sickness even when I am driving the car. So, it's kind of weird that I scuba dive, love roller coasters, and frequently fly!
6. I am terrified of drowning (I'm an awesome swimmer and diver and have been doing it all my life), but waterparks completely FREAK me out! I AVOID them at ALL costs! I am scared that I am going to drown going down the slides! A couple of years ago, my family wanted to go to Busch Garden's WaterPark in Tampa. I was NOT looking forward to it, but was called a "chicken". I AM NOT A CHICKEN!!! I went down one of the slides and came out the other end completely in tears and shaking! I was so freaked out that I almost stopped breathing! My family felt pretty bad!
7. I am obsessed with getting the gross eye junk out of my dogs' eyes! It drives me nuts to see it and I chase them around the house until it's gone!
Alright, I'm now tagging...Ruthanne and Jessica I know that it is only two people, but I don't know anyone else that hasn't been tagged! :)

FUNDRAISER~Calling ALL people!!!
Alright people...I am going to promote my little business today. I have been making monogrammed burp cloths to sell to help offset some of our adoption costs. What does this have to do with you? I am now trying to "step it up" and sell even more to help with my cost of living in Guatemala. Our adoption is taking so long, Caroline is getting so big, and I can't stand to be away from her any longer. I am prayerfully considering moving down mid-February to stay with her. This is where you come into play. I am asking everyone to let EVERYONE know about my burp cloths for sale. I have TONS of ribbon choices and can monogram your burp cloth with initials or names. I also monogram bibs with initials, names, or the classic "worth the wait". I am also working on making "dipes and wipes" to sell. If you are interested, please either leave me a comment or feel free to email me at bethany.rose@eagleslanding.org or timgrose@hotmail.com . Here are some pictures of the college burp cloths and one of the "Worth the Wait" bibs that have been recently added to my collection. Thank you in advance for helping me out with this cause. I am just a mother who is desperately missing her daughter in Guatemala and trying to be with her as soon as I can.

On the Road to Recovery
As we know, I totally messed up my ankle in September playing tennis. After months of being in an aircast/boot, a sports brace 24 hours a day, bedrest, crutches, and just pain...I'm on the road to recovery. I had surgery on my ankle on December 26th (Merry Christmas to me) and found out that my ligaments had healed, but I had formed massive amounts of scar tissue and adhesions over my ligaments and joints. Apparently, you DO need to turn black and blue even more to let the blood escape out! I never would have thought it was so important to bruise!!! The doctor, who is known as the Scope Doctor, said that it was the 2nd worst injury he'd ever seen! Leave it to me!
Anyway, I went back to the doctor yesterday and was informed my progress is doing great! I should start weening myself off the crutches this weekend and be back in the boot(yuck) for only 2-3 weeks. I also have to sit in the "torture chair" for several times a day to strengthen my ankle and keep the scar tissue from reforming. It's truly amazing to look at my ankle now. It's now a real ankle and not a cankle!! :) I can actually see the outline of it! I've never seen a prettier ankle!
I should be able to start playing tennis again in the next few months. YEA!!! I need to get so much energy and pent up anger out! This adoption process is killing me (actually, it's just the waiting)!
