You know how you reach your breaking point???? Here it is...you want to literally pull your hair out, scream at the top of your lungs, throw your most expensive crystal against the wall... I am here. It is official, it is breaking point. It has now been 71 days without any news. I decided to call PGN one more time to verify our case. Our case is NO WHERE to be found! This is now the third time I have heard the same thing. The lady tried to look up our file with Caroline's full birth name, half name, mother's name, mother's half name, date of birth, misspellings, mother's date of birth, date we went "into PGN", and NOTHING!!! NADA, ZIP, ZILCH! Each time I talk with our "not so tenacious" facilitator, he says "call me back in 45 minutes, call me back tomorrow". Well, 45 minutes is UP, tomorrow has already past (many times)! I'M FED UP!!!!

Oh my gosh. I had no idea that was going on. I don't know what to say except keep praying. Heck I know where mine is and I am still ready to scream and throw things. I do not understand this. My prayers are with you. (((((HUGS)))))
I don't understand.....maybe this means you are already OUT???? I have heard of people calling and not being able to find files bc they are OUT. I am praying so hard!
Oh, Bethany---I am SO sorry. You must be in so much pain right now.
I was going to say the same thing as Lou---maybe you're out and that's why they can't find your file. I've heard that before too. I hope you find out what is happening soon.
Bethany - get in touch with Marco at ASG (Adoption Supervisors) ASAP! E-mail me and I will give you all the details. He can help you, for a small fee, to find out about your file. You need that security!
Oh, Bethany! I know how painful it must be at times to be seperated from your little girl. I pray that you will receive great news VERY soon! Keep praying.

I agree with the other comments, I am praying that you are out and that is why they can't find your file!!
I totally understand about the breaking point and had a complete melt down during our process. Sending you big HUGS!!!
Bethany--I remembered today that when Andrew was in PGN I called them and they could not find his file anywhere because I didn't have the file number. She looked under all the possible names but said that without the number she wouldn't be able to find it.
I agree with calling the adoption supervisors, though.
Just a little comfort Scripture:) 2 Cor. 1:3-4"Praise be to the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the Father of compassion and the GOD of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can confort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received for GOD."
Let me start by saying this is the first time I have visited your site so I do not know anything about your case. I am adopting from Guat as well and just got out of PGN after several bumps in the road. I have been told that PGN is highly unreliable and they do not like adoptive parents calling and the majority of the time give them false info. I know for me, when I got word I was officially out I called PGN to confirm and was told we were not out but kicked out with errors. This was not true, we really were out - I know this for sure as our second DNA just got done. I hope that you get your child home soon, but I just do not want you to put too much in what PGN tells you.
Bethany, I am so sorry you are going through this. I don't understand the process, and can't even imagine what you are feeling. We are praying for you, Tim and Caroline - my son is praying for you and he loves you. We love you too.
