Another successful shopping trip at Publix this week (on Monday to take advantage of the mystery item). I got all this wonderful stuff for less than $40. I'm trying to spend around this per week. However, this week, I went over because of my Walgreens trip. BUT, I won't be needing laundry detergent, deoderant, toilet paper, tin foil, or cereal for a LONG time! I also took this time to stock up on some more Juicy Juice. I paid 74 cents for each one of them. We were also craving some pizza and chips, so I took advantage of the BOG1 this week. I only bought one each and didn't have coupons. Oh, well. The cheese is a great deal a $1 each. The potatoes were free and I even earned some overage on them because the manager pushed them through without adjusting the price. :) We love potatoes, but we LOVE free potatoes! The hot chocolate was the mystery penny item. They ran out of the Publix brand, so they were offering the Swiss Miss as a compromise. COOL! We now have plenty of CHEAP hot chocolate for the winter. I also had a coupon for a free Publix bag when you buy a healthy choice meal. Since they were on sale, I took advantage of the freebie. The Bertolli Oven Baked Meals were on sale for $4.99 and I had two $2 off coupons that were expiring this week. It's always a good thing to have an instant meal in the freezer! I had to get a raincheck for dishwashing detergent, so I have to go back out tonight. My coupon expires today! YUCK and it's raining!!! Should have planned a little better...

I was going to buy the Cheerios, but they were B1G1 at Publix for $4.79, but they are on sale for $2 each at Kroger this week....so I am going to get mine at Kroger! :)
How did you get the cheese for $1 each?
Also, at my Publix, they had Kraft Mac 'n Cheese as the penny item this week! Not sure why, but they did!

hey, so impressive. I didn't know you could buy just one of the item and still get the discount. Good to know!! Also, I didn't have a coupon for chips or pizza--my mistake. Though I did google it after you asked that because Tombstone pizza always goes on sale, so it would be very nice to have coupons for that. I couldn't find any though. Where do you get all of your coupons?
