- I am the mother to a wonderful little girl named Caroline. We have been home from Guatemala for a few years and life has changed tremendously for us. I was a teacher, then a stay at home mom, and now I'm back to teaching full time. I am an AVID tennis player, dog and cat lover, coupon clipper, pathetic cook, and obsessed with coffee! I HATE cleaning and doing laundry. I am now trying to juggle LIFE one day at a time!!

The comment from the lady about the Hispanic baby cracks me up. Sounds about right. People just aren't always thinking things through, huh? If I had a dime for every time someone said, "I thought I had you a baby..." In my experience, babies don't just fall that easily into my life. God just didn't write that into His plan for my particular walk. Oh well, it's all good, right!
I wrote that post today because of a really atrocious story that is unfolding with an adoptive family right now in our small town and I just want to shake people sometimes!
