Fall is in the Air!

We are having a wonderful beginning to fall here in the south! The weather is just beautiful! There is a nice crisp feeling in the air and the leaves in our backyard are starting to turn a beautiful red and orange. In the mornings, there is an awesome fog over the lake and the geese are calling out to each other. Just perfect!

With the beginning of fall, my creative juices are beginning to itch (as you can tell from the change of the blog background). I found my two cute scarecrows in the attic and brought them down to decorate the front door. This week, I plan on taking Caroline to the craft store to get some hay, scarecrows and pumpkins. I may even venture over to the Garden Center to pick up some fresh mums. I found these awesome planters at Target on clearance, so I am hoping to "spruce" them up and add them to the display outside.

But, I tend to dream big and then get REALLY overwhelmed and my plans fall through....So, we'll actually see what I get accomplished! ;)

Okay, I thought for sure you were going to say you had a coupon for free hay bales or something! :)

I have been a BAD BAD couponer lately... I haven't clipped in over three weeks. YIKES!!!! I've been too busy decorating. I have gone all out. I have about 6 strings of orange and purple lights all over my house, mums in every pot, asparagus ferns in cups and bowls throughout the house. Of course, the laundry is about ten feet tall, but the outside looks good! :)
