Super Savings Saturday...Kroger (today)

I went to Kroger tonight to take advantage of some of the great deals they had. Yes...we like sugar cereal! I did two transactions because I read that in Metro Atlanta, a catalina (free money on your next transaction) was printing out for Pillsbury biscuits. And now for the breakdown...

Transaction #1:
5- Pillsbury Biscuits- 4 for $4 and 1 for $1.25 - $.40 (5) MQ

OOP: $1.38
Savings: $6.60 (84% savings)

But, the great thing is that a $3.00 Catalina printed out towards my next purchase, which was immediate!

Transaction #2:
5- Pillsbury Biscuits- 4/$4 and 1/$1.25 - (mixture of 35 cent and 40 cent Q)
4- Capn' Crunch Cereal- 4/$10 but minus $4 at check out... - (4) 50 cent Q (doubled)
2- Quaker High Fiber Oatmeal- 2/$4 minus $1 at check out... - (2) $1.00 MQ
2- Peter Pan Peanut Butter- $2.00 each - (2) $1.00 MQ
1- Roast - $4.60 (manager's special)
1- Pita Bread- 79 cents (manager's special)
1- Almond Breeze Milk- $2.00 - $1.00 MQ (Thanks Tutti!)
4- Kraft Shredded Cheese- $1.66 each - (4) $1.00 MQ

OOP: $14.21
Savings: $38.10 (74% savings)

BUT...I received a $3.00 catalina from the biscuits AND a $3.00 catalina from buying the cheese! The 2nd "gift" was a surprise!!! Therefore, my biscuits and cheese were FREE!

Your picture looks like mine! Ha! Ha! I could only get two of the biscuit Qs to print out, so I had to skip that deal! :(

But, someone had told me about the cheese Catalina, I think.

You did GOOD!
